Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. OmniViewer is a static page with no server-side processing: your video is read directly by your browser and never leaves your computer.

Which video formats are supported?

The MP4 family (MP4, M4V, MOV) has a dedicated toolkit — playback, the ISO BMFF box tree, a one-click fast-start fix, metadata editing, GPS stripping, and codec/track stats. WebM and MKV open in the universal viewer with a hex view. Format is detected from the content, not the extension.

Can I remove the GPS location from a video?

Yes, for the MP4 family: OmniViewer shows the ©xyz GPS location a camera or phone embedded and removes it with one click, then downloads a copy with the media left byte-for-byte intact.
